Kojo Yankah School of Communication Studies

Message from the Dean

Welcome to the African University College of Communication. As Dean of the Kojo Yankah School of Communications and Creative Arts, I’m extremely proud of the rich tradition of providing practical, experience-based communication education that our school has upheld since its establishment.

I am also very excited that we have added a creative arts component to our programs to enhance communication practices.

We are hoping that this new development will critically inform our students and prospective practitioners to be able to analyse, create and synthesize complex issues to produce workable solutions to our rapidly changing world.

Our faculty is comprised of dedicated and inspiring scholars whose teaching prepares students to go on to leadership positions in every professional field—having been well prepared through research opportunities, cross-disciplinary studies, and most importantly our distinctive African socio-ethical discourse in communication and the creative arts.

Our efforts and strategies are further supported by the spirited involvement of our inspirational alumni, who are doing new and transformative things in their professional or personal lives that serve as shining examples of the excellent instruction we have at AUCC.

Take some time to explore our website to learn more about our range of outstanding academic programs and learning environment.
